Sergeant DONALD MACRAE, Canadians, late of 25 Coll, died today in 1918 at the age of 28
I have been searching for information (in Scotland War Memorial Project, Seaforth Highlanders web site) about the grave and war memorial on my relative Malcolm Finlayson but have had no luck. I then found him on your blog which is amazing. I wonder if you could site your source for the information.

Malcolm is listed in Loyal Lewis Roll of Honour 1914-1918 under the village of Tong; he is also listed on the Lewis War Memorial. I have more details and a portrait photograph of him on the Tong page of my main tribute site for WW1 casualties. His nephew lives in Stornoway today (he is in his late 80s).
