In the coming weeks, this blog will feature a daily post, remembering those from each village in Lewis who made the supreme sacrifice in the First and Second World Wars. The series will close in the spring with a similar output by street in Stornoway.
The parent site, Faces from the Lewis War Memorial, will undergo a major refurbishment in 2012, with a move to present each casualty and his information on an individual page.
